Glorious 39
Barney entered the film industry in 1978 as a runner/tea-boy working his way up through the ranks of assistant-directing before becoming a location manager in 1985. Throughout the rest of the 80s and first half of the 90s, he was a location manager then production manager on numerous feature films and television dramas.
He produced a short comedy It's Good To Talk, directed by Roger Goldby which was nominated for an Oscar in 1999. He has subsequently produced a range of TV drama and documentary films, music videos, and feature films including Stephen Poliakoffss recent Glorious 39.
