Marilyn Milgrom
Marilyn started out as an actor and moved into development via feature film casting, producing and directing TV drama and documentaries and producing short films. She has been a Senior Tutor at The Script Factory since 2003 and has been part of many domestic and international SF programmes, training developers and screenwriters in Brazil, Israel, Singapore, India and Ukraine. She is also part of the team delivering The Script Factory's SCENE insiders in Sweden, Poland and the UK. As a freelancer Marilyn has worked as a tutor with Arista Development, taught at the Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem and run development training courses for Norwegian Film Development in Oslo. She is a consultant on the EKRAN development programme at the Andrezj Wajda Film School in Warsaw and teaches screenwriting on residential courses for the Arvon Foundation. Marilyn also works as a freelance script consultant and is currently the External Examiner for the MA in Screenwriting at The London Film School.
In Summer 2007 Marilyn was appointed as Head of Development for the New Zealand Film Commission, so is currently based in New Zealand. We continue to work with her on training projects both here and abroad.
