Television Drama Script Reading
Tue 14 October 2008
Ideal for all aspiring TV script editors or for anyone who has previously read film scripts and wants to adapt their skills for working in television, this practical course will teach you what to look for when assessing material for TV drama.
The first day of training offers participants a thorough understanding of the current television landscape and teaches you how to identify original work that could be developed for a slot within a broadcaster's schedule as well as recognise a writer with the talent to contribute to a long running series.
There is a second day of teaching on Tuesday 4 November. This is a highly practical course and in between the two teaching days participants have the opportunity to prepare script reports on which they will receive individual feedback from the course tutor.
