Philiy Page
Philiy Page began her career as a writer and photojournalist. She worked as an award winning freelance photographer for over 6 years, for clients such as the BBC and Marie Claire. She became disillusioned with the industry and made the move into television. She was chosen to be take part in the South West Attachment scheme last year and was placed with two television production companies where she worked as a key member of the development team and as a production researcher. The skills and contacts that she gained during that time have been invaluable. She is now working as a freelance researcher and developer while she produces her Digital short film.
Philiy has been selected onto the Digital Shorts Scheme with the project Michael
This is a film about Michael. Michael loves rabbits. Big ones, small ones, white ones, grey ones and he draws them all for a greeting card company. He loves them more than anything else in the world. But Michael has decided that it is time to find his own Bunny Girl. He accidently bumps into a bored housewife, who is dressed as a rabbit for a pet shop promotion. A un-likely friendship forms. Michael feels that he has found the person that he can share his secret with.
This is a film about being different, but trying to fit in, until you find others who are just like you.
