Alex Tweddle

Alex spent two years at the Birmingham School of Drama then three years at The London Film School. His short films and documentaries have won numerous international film festivals and been screened on Channel 4. He has a Sales and Distribution Agent negotiating sales for two of his longer form documentaries shot in The Democratic Republic of Congo and Juarez, Mexico.
 
For a second year running he his is working with the UK Film Council and Screen East as a writer, director and producers on their Digital Shorts scheme.
 
He is also in the process of writing the first draft of his feature the psychological thriller The Causeway and working on a number of feature documentary projects.
 
Alex has been selected onto the Digital Shorts Scheme with the project Doc 1 (working title).
 
An individual recalls the relationship with a close friend leading up to their controversial murder. The film is told retrospectively through seasonal change; exploring an increasingly controversial subject and within this context examines the nature of loss and forgiveness.
