Katie Crook
Katie produced an independently financed short Nowhere, No One which went on to screen at Milan and Morocco Film Festivals in 2007. She also produced Paper Cuts under the Little Pictures scheme. In 2005 she worked as Production Coordinator for Sugar Tree Productions finishing four 3-minute wonder films for C4 and a short film Accidents which was nominated for Best British Short at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
Katie has been selected onto the Digital Shorts Scheme by GMAC with the project Night School
Night School is a fever dream romance, a love story that plays out like a horror film. A young couple spend the night exploring a derelict school. Strangers to one another they struggle to achieve the intimacy they long for. What unfolds is a dark and sensual study of the complexities of closeness.
