1974 - After their motorbike breaks down a young couple get lost in the wilderness. Nature starts to take over and they are forced to survive. In a disused barn they find some petrol. They continue to walk. He trips. His ankle breaks. She holds him and carries him deeper in to the wilderness searching for escape. They leave a trail of confetti to mark their path. Deeper into the wood they get lost. They make a fire, eat wedding cake and watch shooting stars as they fall off to sleep. Next morning she wakes and he is gone. Shocked and afraid she continues to flee. She finds a lake - mist covered and beautiful in the dawn light. She bathes and changes her dirty clothes. She pulls on her wedding dress. She stumbles back upon the road. After walking for some time she finds something by the side of the road. The motorbike. She douses it in petrol and sets fire to it. It rains. She walks back into the forest.
