Session 1 - 11am–1pm
THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SOUND
However good the film is, if you can’t hear it…
Led by senior sound designer, Larry Sider, this illustrated session will cover the impact of sound, the process of sound design, and includes selected technical advice and trouble-shooting.
Session 2 - 2–4pm
EDITING – A MASTERCLASS
The highly skilled film editor Nicolas Chaudeurge will explore the relationship between screenplay and final cut; use a scene-by-scene analysis to discuss specific editing decisions; and cover the relationship between the director, producer and editor.
Session 3 - 4.15–6pm
POST & EFFECTS
Alistair Hopkins, one of the UK's leading post-production supervisors, will discuss the range of advanced effects technology available for use on a micro budget.
Each session will include time for questions and answers.
