Daymon Britton
Daymon has had an interest in Directing from a very early age - watching classic movies like It‘s a Wonderful Life and North by North West, fascinated by the medium of film he fell in love with the character journey. Working with Director Declan O' Dwyer in 2007 as an actor in Coastal Productions' Wire in the Blood, Daymon was inspired to develop his own film ideas, and embark on the road to personal filmmaking.
Shortly after working with Coastal Productions, Daymon set up a media production services company, Pyramid Media UK, in February of 2008 together with childhood friend and industry professional Jamie Hutchinson. February 2009 saw PMUK go into production of their first broadcast documentary with the help of Northern Film and Media.
Their documentary Seize the Day is currently being broadcast on the Community Channel (Sky 539).
Daymon has been commissioned by Northern Film & Media with the project The Cost Of Living (working title)
The Cost Of Living is a modern film noir written by first time writers Iain Milne & Michael Humphrey. It follows a very well dressed middle aged guy in a very run down part of town as he is about to make the most important call of his life.
