Alex Kelly
Alex Kelly has made one short film, Like Other People Do, that was nominated for best UK short at Raindance, Leeds International Film Festival, and Birds Eye Film Festival and was also shown at Edmonton, Florida, Heartland Indianapolis, Denver, and Hearts of Gold in Queensland, Australia. It also won the Directors Choice award at the Black Maria Film festival.
Alex has been commissioned by Screen South with the project The Happy Wanderer.
Set during the last recession, The Happy Wanderer is about two young people who take a holiday the crap budget break they're stuck on with their parents, and find out that happiness really costs nothing at all.
