Craig Heathcote
Craig's filmmaking career began whilst studying for a BA in Television and Radio at The University of Salford. There he learnt about all aspects of production with focus on editing, sound, camera and directing alongside studio production and development. Craig directed three short films, helping nurture his interest in storytelling.
Soon after graduating in 2005 he began his first job with Kudos Film & TV and has been working almost exclusively for them ever since.
During summer 2008 Craig formed a partnership with Lynsey Miller and by November their first short Hip Hip Hooray was in production. Shot on the RED CAM on an entirely self-funded, miniscule budget, the film managed to attract a high profile cast with Craig pulling together a crew of industry professionals and securing donations of equipment and post facilities.
Craig is currently developing Bleach with Lynsey. He is currently a freelance Post Production Co-ordinator.
Craig has been shortlisted by Screen East as part of the Digital Shorts Scheme.The project is yet to be announced.
