Patrick Maxwell
Born in Brussels, Belgium, Patrick Maxwell spent his formative years at an international school after which he graduated from University College Dublin with an Honours Degree in Commerce (BComm). He moved to Sydney immediately afterwards to study at the International Film School Sydney, where he produced and directed seven short films and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Screen, majoring in Directing. Several of his shorts have gone on to be well received, screening at film festivals worldwide.
Patrick currently works in the film industry in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Patrick has been shortlisted by Northern Ireland Screen with the project Sons Of The Namurs.
Having been kicked out of school while his father is away with the army, Daniel is given a second chance by his estranged Uncle to be his apprentice plasterer. Over time, Daniel finds in John a father figure he so desperately needs, while in turn offering John a fresh outlook on life. All is plunged into jeopardy when Daniel learns of his father’s death. Daniel must choose between staying with John, or going through with his decision to enlist in the army in a search to make sense of his sudden loss.
