Roger Hadfield
Roger is a freelance writer. Sixteen is his third outing with Digi Shorts having been commissioned in 2008 with Tender and 2009 with Butterfly. Tender, which he wrote and Deborah Haywood directed, recently won the Tadgells Bluebell Honor Award at the Auburn International Film Festival and Butterfly is about to go out to festivals worldwide. Roger has various features and shorts in various stages of development.
Roger has been shortlisted by EM Media with the project Sixteen.
Sixteen is a short drama about ends and beginnings.
Daniel Baxter’s daughter Keeley is sixteen today. As he waits for her to come home from a date, he is forced to pick over the rotting carcass of his failed marriage and face the prospect that the gulf between him and his daughter has never been wider.
