The various regional partners are currently awarding their Digital Short commissions to filmmakers in their regions. Meanwhile, The Script Factory is planning a comprehensive Training Programme to support filmmakers who have been commissioned and/or shortlisted.
 
The Digi Shorts Training Programme takes place in Central London over 15 days between February-April 2010.

The Digi Shorts Training Programme is exclusively for participants on the nationwide DS scheme - eligible participants will be notified by their national or regional agency.

 

Digi Shorts Training 2010
 
Digital Shorts Training is being delivered over 15 days with participants eligible to attend up to 3 days each. Topics covered will be repeated up to 3 times on separate days, and include:

Development
Digital Directing
Directing Actors
Producing
Post Production

 
Training sessions are interactive, workshop format, and led by experienced and high profile tutors and guest speakers including Oscar & BAFTA-nominated director, Mike Figgis, actress Natalie Press, and BIFA-award-winning directors Eran Creevy and Paul Andrew Williams.

There is also the possibility to arrange additional specialist training in Animation and Documentary.
