BURSARIES
Script Factory Training is recognised as being valuable by many national media funding partners. This means that it is often possible to obtain bursary support for Script Factory Training from national and regional funding bodies.

Skillset – the Media industry training body, offers Screen Bursaries towards individuals looking to undertake training. They award up to £800 to spend on training if you are a freelancer and up to a maximum of £500 if you are in permanent employment. Click here to find out more about Skillset Bursaries.
In addition to support from Skillset, there are often bursaries available from the nine Regional Screen Agencies (RSAs), development agencies charged with building vibrant and sustainable media sectors within the English Regions and encouraging public access to film culture. Set up during 2003, and typically bringing together existing regional film bodies, commissions and media development agencies, RSAs are self governing bodies which receive the majority of their funding from the UK Film Council, through the Regional Investment Fund for England (RIFE). Contact the RSA where you live (details below) to find out what support is available to you, remembering that often bursaries are given out in tranches to a set deadline rather than out of a rolling fund.
