The Script Factory offers a range of feedback and development services, providing independent professional input which can help prepare your project for the industry. Whenever we stage events or training here in the UK or at Film Festivals both here and abroad, we constantly hear the following advice from Producers to Writers:
“Don’t send your script out till it’s ready”
“Make sure your script is as good as you can possibly get it”
And we hear this from experienced screenwriters over and over again:
“Writing is rewriting”
Sound familiar?
Of course we know that sticking to this advice is a lot more difficult: How do I know my script is ready? What can I do to make it better? Have I considered every element of my story? What will a Reader make of it? What exactly do I need to rewrite? Is the film running in my head the same one being imagined in the Reader’s?
And here's where we can help you. A Script Factory Feedback Report is designed to give you the information you need to move forward with confidence on your script. We have a small team of experienced and trained readers who will produced a considered, objective analysis of your script covering story, character and technical elements to help you “back in” to the next draft.
