This practical workshop comprises of two teaching days held two weeks apart.
Teaching on the first day aims to demystify the function of treatments in the UK film industry and equip participants with the skills to write reader-friendly sales documents that clearly convey their film story. Writers then get a chance to put their new skills into practise before the second teaching day - THURSDAY 13 NOVEMBER 2008 - which is devoted to one-to-one development sessions followed by a consideration of the other development documents (step outlines, scene breakdowns etc) in a screenwriter's toolbox.
