Sami Khan
Sami has worked for the last ten years as both an art director and designer across a variety of films and commercials. Last year saw him direct his first digital short How Life Happens to add to the growing number of promos he has directed. He has received no formal writing or directing training but rather is learning the craft of story telling from collaborating closely with writers, directors and actors on many of the projects he has worked on.
Sami has been selected onto the Digital Shorts Scheme by North West Vision with the project My Name Is Hamzah
Sami’s project My Name Is Hamzah tells the story of a young boy, Hamzah. his older sister Rani and their relationship with their controlling and abusive father.
