2005: Sit com pilot The Goliath – failed to sell after three rewrites for BBC Wales.
2006: Co-wrote feature Script L.L.P.D – signed to Valerie Hoskins Associates in London. Went out to the 30 Hollywood animation companies including Dreamworks. Failed to sell after meetings with Disney and Working Title.
2007: Short The Scissor Slaying of Charlie Chuckle and Billy Bubble (Runner up British Short Screenplay Contest)
2008: Co-wrote feature Red Sleigh Down – Optioned to Ipso Facto Films.
2008: Wrote, directed and starred in Inspiration – Winner Channel 4 short film contest.
2009 Co-wrote Meet Mister Successful – Current finalist in The British Short Screenplay Contest.
2009: Co-Wrote The House of Scarlet – Phil Hawkins attached as director.
2010: Various features and short scripts.
 
Stephen has been shortlisted by North Wes Vision & Media with the project The House of Scarlet.
 
House of Scarlet is a psychological thriller about a young woman (Karen) who wakes up in a strange house with no recollection of how she got there. Karen wanders the halls looking for means of escape. Along the way Karen encounters strange people, who may or may not be her captor. When Karen comes face to face with her captor in the shocking climax, she realises that nothing is what is seems.
