Jonny Brown
Jonny Brown was awarded a PhD in French literature and film, and taught at University College London, before becoming a developer and reader in the British and Irish film industry for several years. He worked for Pathe, the UK Film Council, Northern Ireland Screen and the Irish Film Board, as well as for numerous writers and producers, and was one of the script-editors on the UK Film Council's '25 Words or Less' scheme, working exclusively on comedies. He is now a 'script doctor' and screenwriter, who has been commissioned by the likes of Jonathan Cavendish (one of the producers of Bridget Jones), and Marina Gefter (associate producer of Godfather 3), to work on feature scripts. More recently he has begun to co-write a feature comedy to star Omid Djalili, and rewrote an ensemble comedy-drama to be shot in Dubai later this year.
