Peter La Terriere
Peter joins us as a Friendly Producer in Autumn 2008.
Peter has eighteen years of feature film production experience working with diverse filmmakers including Clive Barker, Gillies MacKinnon, Aki Kaurismaki, Bernard Rose, Alan Bleasdale, Peter Cattaneo and Terrence Malick.
He line produced the BAFTA-winning short It’s Not Unusual starring Meera Syal before moving into feature films where he co-produced John Duigan’s Paranoid starring Jessica Alba, Iain Glen and Mischa Barton for Sky as well as My Brother Tom for FilmFour and the UK Film Council.
He continued his relationship with FilmFour and the Film Council producing four Comedy short films featuring award-winning talent including Graham Linehan, Robert Popper, Eddie Marsan, David Walliams, Ronnie Ancona and Keith Allen.
His company First Foot Films co-produced Terrence Malick’s recent epic The New World starring Colin Farrell and Christian Bale and has produced sci-fi horror film Mutant Chronicles starring Thomas Jane and John Malkovich. He is now producing Kari Skogland’s Belfast set thriller called 50 Dead Men Walking, a UK-Canadian co-production starring Jim Sturgess and Sir Ben Kingsley.
