Jay Ost
(formerly Jay Roberts)
Following both an undergraduate programme and an MA in film theory at The University of Kent, Jay worked in the advertising and media industries before joining The Script Factory as a volunteer to help with the first Writers' Passage programme. She subsequently joined the company full time in 2002 to work as Training Producer overseeing our range of training initiatives and live events including the Digital Shorts training programme. Jay is also a reader herself and became a mentor on the MA in screenwriting programme at Salford. In 2006 she became co-ordinator of The Script Factory's extensive Development Feedback Services and The Script Factory's Draft to Draft programme which provides development support meetings for feature film screenwriters.
Jay left The Script Factory in March 2008, but continues to work with the company on a freelance basis as a developer and reader.
