Richard House
As a writer Richard has had two novels Bruiser and Uninvited ‚ published by Serpent’s Tail / High Risk books. His short fiction has appeared in Corriere della Serra, BOMB, The Village Voice, and in anthologies. Richard has held recent fellowships in the US at Yaddo and MacDowell and is currently completing a third novel The Kills.
His visual work includes collaboration with Iain Finlay on an untitled new short. His previous work with Iain Finlay includes Number 54, a DV Short.
Richard has also made collaborative visual work (including short documentary style pieces) with Haha, a Chicago-based art collective. Completed public art projects for exhibitions, museums, private collections, and public spaces in the US and Europe which are documented online at www.hahahaha.org
Richard has been selected onto the Digital Shorts scheme EM-Media with the project Wintering
A young woman witnesses a man setting fire to clothes on a beach. She follows him back to a house where he is destroying the contents. The man’s actions become increasingly extreme, until, through her intervention, he is stopped.
