A unique chance for budding writers to influence the narrative of a high-end fashion shoot which will create a catalogue and film for Yves Saint Laurent’s forthcoming ‘Edition 24’ collection. Nick Knight's art and fashion broadcasting website, SHOWstudio, is inviting submissions for a twenty-four-scene screenplay that will form the basis of a twenty-four hour, live fashion broadcast over the night of 14 July, during which Knight and Head Designer at YSL, Stefano Pilati, will transform your ideas into image.
SHOWstudio, is requesting your submissions to a 24-part screenplay. Titled The '24hrs' Project, and involving a 24-hour fashion shoot with the prestigious fashion house Yves Saint Laurent over the night of Saturday 14 July, the project will create a catalogue and a short film of the forthcoming YSL 'Edition 24' collection and will be broadcast live on SHOWstudio to a global audience.
The event is being structured around a 24-scene 'screenplay' and SHOWstudio invite you to send a treatment via
www.showstudio.com/projects/24hrs/brief/
If your treatment makes it into the final film it'll be included in the final film, and screened on SHOWstudio and on YSL.com
SHOWstudio is currently casting the model or actress who will act out the scenes, and each sequence will be styled by Head YSL Designer, Stefano Pilati, and shot by photographer Nick Knight.
It's a great, fun opportunity for new writers - but hurry, deadline for submissions is Monday 9 July.
