This detailed session is an introduction to the fundamental principles of translating creative writing into useable budgeting. It won't cover hands on use of any proprietary software but will give an opportunity to examine best practices when approaching the twin challenges of scheduling and budgeting a script for the independent sector.
Brian Donovan is a Line Producer whose previous credits include Red Tails, The Last Station, Star Wars, Bridget Jones's Diary. He's based in London but is also widely experienced in foreign location filming.
This session is part of BAFTA and Rushes Soho Short Film Festival’s New Filmmakers’ Market, a day of events at screenings at BAFTA HQ. All ticket purchases get you an open invitation to a networking drink courtesy of Stella in the BAFTA Members Bar at 5.30pm
