I want to read the screenplays of THE SINGING DETECTIVE and MAGNOLIA. How do I find them? Are any scripts available on-line?

There are several publishers with strong film or screenwriting titles including:
 
* Faber & Faber
* BFI Publishing
* Methuen


 

An extensive list of other books on screenwriting as well as scripts is available at www.amazon.co.uk. And there are literally hundreds of web sites with downloadable scripts – though do note the variation of quality in these screenplays and that it is not always possible to distinguish between shooting script and script of the finished film.
