Piers Hill
A graduate of the Northern School of Film & TV, Piers Hill is a Leicester-based filmmaker/screenwriter who has directed a number of low budget shorts/ pop promos. He is at present writing a ‘private eye’ feature, working title Fractured By Light.
Piers has been selected onto the Digital Shorts Scheme with the project Crimson
A road movie without a car Crimson follows the episodic, existential odyssey of mixed-race skate kid Kyle. An idealist in search of an ideology, we follow him as he journeys through the city desperate for human connection. Meditative in tone, with a touch of humour, the film examines issues of cultural isolation, Americanisation and spiritual emptiness.
