Iron Man is a unique drama which poetically explore themes of love, dreams & coming of age. Set against the backdrop of Crosby beach and a small Indian restaurant our film opens a window onto the life of a teenage girl teetering on the edge of womanhood. Saira is a dreamer. She longs for romance, fulfilment, and a desire for something more than the safe everyday life offered her by her family. The iron men on the beach represent the deep inner yearnings of that first post-pubescent sexual awakening. An eroticism made all the more dark and mysterious because it takes route not in reality, but in the images of her in-experienced imagination. That is... until Cherno turns up on the beach! Wet, black and oozing an exotic earthy sexuality. Her dreams are about to come to life.
