Rachel Dargaval
A graduate in Contemporary Arts, Rachel’s film career began during university where she concentrated her studies in Performance and Film. During this time her passion for film and filmmaking developed both Practically and Critically. Upon graduation Rachel continued to pursue film and filmmaking to a professional level and four years into a professional film career is heavily involved in film and its production.
Rachel works within both features and short films, Working within the AD department allows practical experience of the day to day running of the floor while subsidising her development as a producer and helping to gain valuable skills needed for producer. Alongside a number of self-funded projects Rachel has already produced 3 short films for UKFC and developed some strong Director/Producer relationships. Currently working with directors with whom she has long standing relationships and with some exciting projects in the pipeline, watch this space!
Rachel has been selected onto the Digital Shorts scheme by EM-Media with the project Wintering
A woman witnesses a man setting fire to clothes on a beach. She follows him and watches him as he engages in more acts of destruction. The man’s actions become increasingly extreme and bizarre, until, through her intervention. He is stopped.
