The place to come and be inspired by the best documentary filmmaking in the world and to do business with all the key international funders and distributors, it’s not too late to get your pass for BRITDOC 08.
Taking place from 23–25 July, at the beautiful Keble College, Oxford, this year's BRITDOC themes are Comedy and Music. Guests who will be heading for Oxford include comedic director Larry Charles (Borat, Curb Your Enthusiasm), as well as renowned composers like Michael Nyman and Jonathan Dove, and Mercury Prize-nominee Nitin Sawhney.
The engine room of BRITDOC is the pitching forums, and the line-up for 'the Big, the Short and the Good Pitches' have all just been announced. Over the course of the festival’s three days a total of 27 projects will be pitched in front of funders like HBO, NHK, IFC, Participant and the Sundance Institute.
And there's even a very special give-away for all Script Factory members… Just be the first person to email alex@britdoc.org and you'll pick up a day-pass for Thursday 24 July – the day the Big Pitch takes place – completely free of charge. (The winner will be contacted by close of play Tuesday 22 July).
