Helen Jacey
Helen Jacey has been commissioned to write numerous film, TV and radio projects, many with female protagonists, and is represented by Casarotto Ramsay. She teaches as a guest lecturer on the MA in Screenwriting at Bournemouth University and at the University of the Arts London. Alongside training and writing screenplays, Helen is currently studying at University of the Arts London for a PhD about the Hollywood screenwriting theories of Vogler and McKee, and how they relate to writing with a female protagonist. She is also currently writing a book about heroines to be published next year, inspired by her writing experiences.
For The Script Factory, Helen first taught her 2-day screenwriting course, Writing The Heroine's Story, in May 2009.
