Supernatural undertones - Puffball“Life is so full of stories of love, jealousy, hope and sex, of horror, grief and joy. But however they are told, they all begin and end the same way.” Nicolas Roeg
Liffey, an ambitious young architect, buys a ruined country cottage planning to transform it into a country idyll. But the building, located in an isolated Irish valley, has a history. And when she finds herself unexpectedly pregnant the neighbouring farmers turn against her and her unborn child, and try to change the course of nature.
A chilling drama with supernatural overtones, Puffball is a thriller about love, life, grief and sex, adapted from the Fay Weldon novel by her son Dan Weldon. Directed by the legendary Nicolas Roeg (Performance,Walkabout, Don’t Look Now, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Bad Timing, Eureka, The Witches), Puffball stars Kelly Reilly, Miranda Richardson and Donald Sutherland.
We’re delighted that Nic Roeg will join us for a conversation with novelist Fay Weldon and screenwriter Dan Weldon, before this preview of his latest feature.

Tickets £12 available from 020 7435 3366 (from 12.30pm daily).
