Jools is a lecturer at Nottingham Trent University. Working on the Multimedia Programme Jools’ specialism is Narrative.
Jools spent eight years as Freelance Station Assistant on regional news East Midlands Today, producing director 3 minute art features. Jools has had variety of work commissioned for radio, and one regional short film broadcast as writer/director.
Jools is also a Playwright. His debut play Natural Breaks and Rhythms was produced and published in 2006 and is available to by from Methuen drama. Go on he needs the royalties!

Lucy is diagnosed with an illness that she can’t control. She will now die at age 80. In her search for a solution she finds The Avatarium and the gender reconstruction machine. In a world where you can become anybody tomorrow, who takes responsibility for who you are today? Carcass is a character study piece hiding inside the sci-fi genre.
