Brian Philip Davis
Brian is a graduate of the University of Ulster where he studied Design for Visual Communication as well as spending a year in the USA at Centenary College, New Jersey.
Since graduating in 2005 he went on to make a number of short films that have shown at various film festivals worldwide even picking up a few awards. Brian has also directed a number of music videos for artists including Oppenheimer, The Winding Stair and Two Door Cinema Club who recently made the BBC Sound of 2010 list.
In 2008 he collaborated with writer Dave Kinghan on Happy as Larry, a short film funded through Northern Ireland Screen’s Deviate scheme about the happiest man in the world. The team are continuing their collaboration with Intervention.
Brian has been shortlisted by Northern Ireland Screen with the project Intervention
Two performance artists sit imprisoned in a cell after an art intervention goes spectacularly wrong. As paranoia and distrust set in, their true motives are exposed and a master plan is revealed than neither of them expect.
