Sam Washington

When Sam was just seven years old, a friend of his mother was working at the gift shop at Leeds Castle in Kent. They were filming a special UK episode of Magnum P.I. at the castle, and her friend managed to sneak Sam and his mum on set. The helicopters, the cameras, the bright lights and Tom Selleck’s moustache were almost too much for Sam’s inquisitive young mind. Whatever these people were doing, he wanted in.
 
Fast forward to 2010 and Sam is now a successful commercials Director working out of Brothers and Sisters in London. But, since that early encounter with Magnum P.I., Sam has always looked to progress into Directing drama and is currently hatching several plans to that effect.
 
“I always think myself very lucky, not only to have had a strong ambition from such a young age, but to have had the chance to realise it.”
