Rupert Lloyd
Rupert attended Camberwell College of Art and Design before graduating from Leeds University with a degree in the History of Art. After graduation he occupied various positions on film and television productions throughout the UK. From the UK, Rupert moved to Jordan and Near East Media, where he was Picture Editor for their two titles Skin and Nox. After a chance meeting with the editor of The Hurt Locker, Rupert returned to the film business to work in the cutting room of Kathryn Bigelow's critically acclaimed war film. Subsequently he worked in the cutting rooms of a number of features but is now focusing his attention on producing, founding Noor Pictures in May 2009. The company's first short, Death of a Boxer, is currently on the festival circuit and is due to shoot another in the September entitled The Leopardess. Noor Pictures has also been awarded funding to develop its first feature film Shakoush (Hammer).
