James Sharpe
James Sharpe is a director from the East Midlands and has been practicing film and photography for the majority of his life. Previously having written and directed Nose Hair for Wellington Films and Fine Art which has been distributed across all the BBC's city centre Big Screens. As well as short films, James has directed a music videos for local artists and has developed music videos for signed artists. He is currently awaiting a commission from EM Media for a new short film on the Digital Short scheme and is looking to direct his first feature film in the very near future.
James has been shortlisetd by EM Media with the project Unspoken.
Unspoken is the tender love story of a young female immigrant, Tihana and her lover Zamir, both of whom work in a hotel. As a war orphan, Tihana has to learn to live with her past and love in the present. Written by Matt Howling.
