Dave Kinghan

Dave Kinghan graduated from Queen's University Belfast in 2007 with a Masters in Creative Writing. In 2008 his short film, Happy as Larry was funded by Northern Ireland Screen and the UK Film Council through their Digital Shorts scheme. In the same year he participated in Tinderbox Theatre Company's Fireworks Young Writers Programme, which culminated in his short play, True Colour, being performed at the Old Museum Arts Centre. In 2009 his stage comedy DEATH (on a shoestring) was performed for two nights at the Pick n Mix theatre festival at the OMAC.
Dave has been shortlisted by NI Screen with the project Intervention.
Intervention
Two performance artists sit imprisoned in a cell after disrupting a rival's final performance. As paranoia sets in, their true motives are exposed. However they are unaware that they have a further role to play in their rival's last great work.
