Jonathan Tritton

With a background in theatre, Jonathan Tritton has spent the last twelve years combining his skills in live performance and visual story-telling in his film making. Jonathan has had vast experience in all elements of moving image production, from concept design and script writing to post production. His camera work has taken him to India, rural Africa, Greece and New York. In both his commercial and artistic work Jonathan focuses on making films that will make a difference. His artistic work has included the award winning I Saw A Girl - a film made with Learning Disabled Artists and Coming To Our Senses - a site specific work in a cafe-gallery combining the art of dance, sound and film with a cup of coffee. He was the lighting designer for the satirical Thatcher the Musical! and has directed photography and edited a series of Live in Concert Reggae DVDs.
Jonathan has been shortlisted by Screen West Midlands with the project The Sea Reminds Me.
The Sea Reminds Me: (short film project). Mark, a 30yr old disabled man, cannot come to terms with his father's death. He yearns for real touch and connection. He embarks on a daytrip to the sea to relive old memories which brings him closer to his father then he could ever have imagined.
