Keble Hall - an idyllic setting for BRITDOC 08

Interested in documentary? Then we think BRITDOC 08 is the Festival to head for. Taking place in the stunning surrounds of Keble College, Oxford, from 23-25 July, BRITDOC is the bespoke film festival which connects international funders, distributors, and filmmakers. They've also just been voted by The Independent the ‘9th best festival’ of this coming summer! Tickets are on sale now - but there's one special free pass to the whole Festival up for grabs too, available free to one lucky Script Factory fan.
This year the Festival has three pitching forums: The Big Pitch - for original and inventive feature docs; The Good Pitch - for films and filmmakers actioning social change through documentary; and The Short Pitch - for exciting and innovative short docs. Panellists on these forums include HBO, IFC, NHK, ARTE and the Sundance Institute.
Delegates enjoying the posh nosh that comes with BRITDOC 08The themes of BRITDOC this year are comedy and music, so not only will they be screening the absolute best of new British documentary but will be welcoming special guests like Larry Charles (director of Curb Your Enthusiasm and Borat) and Mercury Prize nominee Nitin Sawhney, and much, much more.
Tickets are on sale until May 16 at the special early-bird price - £250 for a 3-day pass - BUT more importantly, they've set up a competition just for Script Factory fans, and have given us a 3-day pass to the event to give away (worth £300). To get your hands on this prize you just have to give us the best and most hilarious alternative title to the documentary Touching The Void.
