Steve Rainbow
Steve started his career in films by adapting one of his friend’s short stories into a screen play and shooting it over several weekends. This first film won him the best short drama award at the 8th Birmingham film festival. Since then he has written and directed 5 more shorts, 3 of which have won second place prizes and 1 won first prize and all have been shown at major festivals across the world. Since 2002 Steve as been concentrating on writing his feature film script Death Duty, a black comedy set in Ireland, and an ongoing portmanteau film called Spaghetti Junction, which is a collection of Steve’s short stories strung together to form a whole…or is that hole???
